Mary went above and beyond to accommodate The cabin is adorable with lots of nice touches, and the outdoors areas are simply amazing. The closet kitchen is well supplied . We actually cooked all but two meals during our week-long stay. The bed is very comfortable. I highly recommend "The Bear's Den" for your stay in the Franklin, NC area.

This 3 bedroom home is in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of town where you can enjoy wonderful restaurants and breweries. Greet the morning enjoying your coffee in the sunroom as you watch the birds, Merle the Squirrel and chipmunks. The huge private deck, nestled in trees, is a lovely place for enjoying a glass of wine as the sun sets. Enjoy the flagstone fire pit in the backyard. If your idea of a vacation is serenity and relaxation, then the Deerfield Cottage is for you. The property sits on 12 acres, nestled in the Wayah valley just six miles from historical Franklin, NC. In the early mornings or at dusk, look for the deer that frequent the property. Often you will see fawns frolicking in the field under the fruit trees. A 100 year old corn crib harkens back to the early days when this land was part of a working farm.
