Salamonie State Property surrounds the Carriage House on three sides which means, this is all public land for you to explore! The Carriage House shares five acres with our residence. The Carriage House has loads of rustic charm, however, the modern amenities will keep you comfortable! Whether you're horseback riding, fishing, boating, hiking, biking on the Wabash County Trail, seeing a show at the Honeywell Center or just simply...want to get away, the Carriage House is awaiting your arrival!

Close to Culver Academies (18 min/10 mi), Lake Maxinkuckee (13 min/7.4 mi), Lake Manitou (27 min/16 mi), and the historic Tippecanoe River (5 min/3.5 mi to Germany Bridge or 5 min/1.6 mi to Aubbeenaubbee Landing in Leiters Ford). We keep our prices low for 2 people, so please note that while we have space for up to 6 guests, each additional guest will incur small additional charges.

The Shed Retreat is a sacred space for anyone looking to shed their worries, fears, and busy schedules. Once a home for goats located in a secluded area on our property, it is now a peaceful garden oasis among the trees for those seeking a break from the norm. Inside, you can enjoy a cozy and relaxing place to lounge or rest. Outside, you can spend time around the fire pit, collect fresh eggs for breakfast, kayak on a nearby river, bike to local ice cream shops, or take a nap in a hammock.

Welcome Home! • Close to Downtown Wabash, IN. 1 block from Honeywell Center, New Park across the Street, YMCA with pool & loads of activities only half a block away. • Saturdays from May-October, local Farmer’s market in Honeywell Center lot. • “First Friday” every Friday evening downtown: local shops open until 8pm, plenty of food & activities for all ages! • Home is 1 level. We are a mile from the entrance of the Nickel Plate Bicycle Trail that runs north 20 miles to Rochester and south 20 miles to Kokomo.
