Take in the views of the red-rock mountains and lush green fairways from a private backyard designed to capture the quintessentially California experience of indoor-outdoor living. Spend sunny days in the pool or on the bocce court and yoga mats, then linger into the evenings around the barbecue, al-fresco dining area, firepit and hot tub.

An indoor-outdoor bar links the villa’s terrace with its open-concept interiors, where you’ll find amenities from a satellite TV, Sonos sound system and Wi-Fi to a wine cooler to make entertaining easy. Details like beamed ceilings and woven baskets add warm natural texture to the chic sitting area, dining table and fully equipped kitchen in the great room.

There are five bedrooms in the main house at this single-story vacation rental: two with California king beds and three with king beds, all with en-suite bathrooms. There’s also a casita with its own king bed and en-suite bathroom that could be used as a honeymoon-style retreat or a quieter space for in-laws.

Thanks to its gated-community setting, Casa La Quinta is less than a 5-minute drive from the spa, golf courses and other amenities at La Quinta Resort. It’s also less than a 10-minute drive from shopping at the charming Old Town La Quinta and a short trip from world-famous local venues such as the Coachella festival grounds and the Indian Wells Tennis Garden.
