A wonderful experience that felt personal and genuine, like visiting a friend.

Amazing experience of making traditional Catalan footwear. Annie was the perfect host, we immediately felt welcome and comfortable. She explained the history of espadrilles, then walked us through how to make them ourselves. We were given enough space to try our hand at it ourselves but Annie was always there to monitor how we're doing and to help if needed. We are extremely proud of our new espadrilles, they came out perfect! The whole experience is of great value - you have a lot of fun, you learn, and at the end you walk out of the workshop with your new shoes!

We were also welcomed with cava and snacks, which was a nice touch!

This newly created excursion in Curaçao was a truly enriching experience that beautifully combined history, culture, and learning how espadrilles are made. The guides were incredibly knowledgeable and engaging, sharing fascinating stories about the island’s past, its diverse heritage, and how Curaçao evolved into the vibrant place it is today. Their passion and pride for the island really shined through. We learned so much about the local culture, architecture, and traditions while enjoying the scenic beauty of the island. The tour was well-paced in the downtown area. Ethan and his team made delicious, refreshing cocktails that captured the tropical spirit of Curaçao. I highly recommend this excursion for anyone who enjoys learning, exploring, and experiencing the authentic side of the island in a fun and relaxing way. It’s a great balance of education and enjoyment! I really enjoyed it.
