This popular recreation area in the Ocala National Forest offers swimming and lounging by the refreshing spring pool, picnicking, a 1.1-mile hiking loop on the Timucuan Trail, plus kayak and canoe rentals that allow guests to get up close and personal to Florida wildlife. Entry fee is $6 per person on weekdays and $10 per person on weekends.

Alexander Springs is among 27 first-magnitude springs in Florida, The water is a constant 72 degrees and extraordinarily clear-blue with a sandy bottom. The area is subtropical, With many Forest animal. The spring is the only place in the Ocala National Forest where scuba diving is permitted.

Perfect place to swim, snorkel or scuba. Beautiful area with nature trails,picnic area and a campground. This is our favorite spot.

Clean, fun, and beautiful springs. Bring your blanket, snorkel, and towel! Rentals for kayak and Canoe is available plus nature trails. Great place to chill on a hot day.
